My flight landed at midnight instead of 10pm so I walked in my door at 1am and I'm hating this morning. I planned to sleep until 8 but Sally had other plans and made certain I was out of bed tending to her needs by 7:15. I'd give an awful lot to work from home today.

I have some more thoughts on last week's BSG )

I was home for Passover for less than 36 hours and I miss my family already. Missing them, actually, is the only reason I'm not taking a sick day. I'd hate to lose out on a vacation day in NY because I spent one on my couch in MI.

After I posted this morning, I called in sick to work and crawled back into bed. Since then, I've watched Dr. Who (04x03), last night's Brothers & Sisters, and the BSG panel at NY Comic Con. I also took another nap. Today was needed on many levels.

Thanks to inspiration from [livejournal.com profile] carta, I'm going to start this C25K running plan. I've been lamenting the fact that I'm cooped up in the gym when I could be outside exercising but I'm just not a runner anymore. This plan should get me back in the game and keep me motivated. I start today!

For anyone who's interested, here are links to the BSG Comic Con panel:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6

The whole thing is about 50 minutes and includes spoilers through Friday's episode (04x03). On the panel are Michael Hogan, Rekha Sharma, and Michael Trucco, along with SciFi Channel's Mark Stern. The video is wonky for the first 2- 5 seconds of each part but then it rights itself.

I made two political donations this year and I swear they're never going to let me be. The costs of retention marketing outweigh anything else they're going to get from me EVER.

PS. My Bonnie & Clyde movie poster arrived! It's huge and awesome and I will have to frame it.
