I put on my shiny new sneakers and headed out for day 1 of week 3 in my 5k training and promptly pulled a muscle. :( Clearly, there is more effective stretching in my future.
The city of Ann Arbor has determined that everyone in my neighborhood must repave portions of their sidewalk. To ensure we know where we have to repave, the city has painted silver circles on the grids in question. A neighbor offered to do the job for $100/grid but Ann Arbor says I need to update 5 sections of my sidewalk. Grrrrr. I'm inclined to tell the city to shove it.
There's a interesting blog post here that purports that Gaius Balter has more in common with Joseph Smith than Jesus Christ. It's very interesting commentary but I'm inclined to believe that the parallel must be one that ties to a major change in the course of human (religious) history and, while Smith had substantial impact, it's not quite on the level of Christianity.
Anyway. While Monday isn't my favorite day of the week, David Tennant makes it better. Even better than free breakfast!
