"Heather. Would you stay?"

Okay, seriously? Grissom and Lady Heather have the hottest chemistry. They read each other so well. I can't get enough of them and why they're not together is absolutely beyond me. How do they miss the obvious? (Actually, I'm pretty sure Heather knows exactly what could be but she also knows their timing is always off.) Grissom goes to Heather because she's safe and she sees through his walls and, from the very beginning, he's trusted her. And, on the flip side, she knows that he sees who she really is and will never judge her.

But poor Grissom is in so much pain. :( It was terrible enough to watch that I almost wanted to see him go after Sara. Almost. Which is exactly how I think their going to write him out of the show. Everything is leading to that. (Except for the way I'll gladly rewrite that ending in my head and he'll turn up at Heather's and the timing will be right and they'll make each other happy. The end.)

  • The lock box on my door has a four digit combination but it's a non-ordered sequence and I was curious about the probability of guessing the combo for this lock vs. one with a 4 digit ordered sequence. I turned to [livejournal.com profile] mathematics for an answer and they didn't let me down. The number of combinations for an ordered sequence is greater than non-ordered by a factor of 24! Assuming it takes 10 seconds to try a 4 digit combination, it will only take someone 35 minutes to go through all of the 210 possible combinations. Moral of the story: I will be taking the key in with me every night.

  • I've been beta testing the new LJ profile page for a while and I really like it. But not as much as I like Grissom & Lady Heather.
