Woke up in time for the refrigerator man to come by and set everything in working order. Perishable food, here I come!
Sci-fi sent me an e-mail to tell me about Jason Momoa's new video interview at Sci-Fi pulse so I promptly headed over to watch and was both thoroughly delighted by Momoa and spoiled for an upcoming episode. Same for the interview with Jewel Staite. They're totally worth it, though, if you don't mind clips from unaired eps.
Teal'c! Teal'c and Ronon will be awesome together. They better not blow this opportunity because I have high expectations. And a Ronon/Keller romance? I don't read Malozzi's blog so maybe that's common knowledge but I didn't see it coming.
I'm through with the final episode of Scarecrow & Mrs. King. *sigh* It took me just under two months to make my way through the four seasons and it was tremendous fun. Sadly, the final few episodes are disappointing. Kate Jackson was ill and had to pull back on her air time so most of her involvement was phoned in in the form of character references. Even more than that, Lee and Amanda still had stories left to tell. When do they divulge their marriage to her family? Do they ever come out at work? What about kids? Lee would be a great father but how to they balance raising a child and playing spy? I completely understand why the fanfic communities run fests for a fictional 5th and 6th season. If only the fic was good. Sadly, my general response to the SMK fanfic I've found is WOE.
Endless gratitude to
carta for lending me the DVDs and
anamchara for burning them in the first place. I don't have a DVD burner but I'm going to see if I can source out a burn job before I return the discs. There are any number of episodes I know I'll want to watch again and again and again. And my SMK calendar arrived in the mail so I'll have them with me all through 2008.
In conclusion, Lee and Amanda = #1 OTP FOREVER x eleventybillion.
I should go to the gym and the supermarket but I think I'm going to take a nap. My bed wants me to and I think I can convince Sally to join me.
