SGA (02x17) - Coup d'Etat

I loved this episode. I'm pretty much hooked once I know the Genaii are involved and there's no way I believe that Kolya is dead. That's far to tidy. Especially when I'm waiting, waiting, waiting to see Sheppard take him out once and for all.

Colm Meaney is awesome. He was completely underutilized as Miles O'Brien.

Sheppard and McKay kick ass. They're both so great and for completely different reasons. Sheppard only takes himself as seriously as he has to (That's Lt. Colonel errand boy to you./Could've been in MENSA.) and McKay, oh, McKay. (Did you see how I almost stunned that guy...Yeah, but if he was a step to the right I would have stunned him for sure.)

I don't quite get why McKay and Sheppard got the silly yellow glasses but I'll go with it.

Oh! And his exchange with Lorne! I heart Lorne.

(And you know Ronon was pissed he missed out on that raid.)

I love Stacy and House. I really do. They're so real and broken and they have great history. I don't know how anyone prefers House/Cameron. And seeing House actually reach out for someone...MY HEART. And he knows they can't be together...that at the end of the day he won't be able to make Stacy happy or give her what she wants. He's noble when it counts. I know they can't possibly get together but I don't want it to end. They're great on screen together.

It's interesting to see the ducklings on their own. Foreman rocks. I never thought about it much before but I wonder if they actually like each other. The Chase/Cameron sex not withstanding, I don't know that they actually like each other. All that aside, I think this was a great opportunity for Foreman, Chase, and Cameron to try to test themselves without House.

Things that made me laugh:
* House and Foreman with matching hats.
* Wilson stuck at lunch with that nurse.
* Lesbian Prison Stories.

I'm so glad that House is back.
