I'm somewhat obessesed with Lou Dobbs and Lou Dobbs Tonight. It's fast become my favorite news program. He tells it like it is, delivers the details, and, to my delight, can barely mask his sarcasm when addressing issues like "Homeland (In)Security." This is my kind of news program.

Want to take a Lou Dobbs poll? )

News to me, republican commentator/presidential advisor has written, Impostor : How George W. Bush Bankrupted America and Betrayed the Reagan Legacy. Publisher's Weekly says, "Bartlett's attack boils down to one key premise: Bush is a shallow opportunist who has cast aside the principles of the "Reagan Revolution" for short-term political gains that may wind up hurting the American economy as badly as, if not worse than, Nixon's did." I may not be a Reagan fan but I there's no arguing with the vast majority of his assertions particularly the shallow opportunist bit.

But there's also news to report that's good for the soul. "Jason McElwain has autism and has been the team manager of the Greece-Athena High School basketball team for the past two seasons. For their last home game of the season head coach Jim Johnson let Jason suit up and promised to let him in sometime during the game...In truly dramatic fashion Jason went on to hit six 3-point field goals among the 20 points he scored in less than four minutes." The video footage is incredible. What a moment for the kid.

The April issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands on 3/10 and has some super secret celebrity cover - confidentiality agreements and all. What celebrity is worth that kind of trouble? (Assuming, for argument's sake, that any celebrity is.) A branjelina wedding? A tomkat debacle? Any guesses?
