i'm so easy...
Part of me is ready for awards season to end because OMG THE SELF INDULGENCE but most of me is a COMPLETE sucker for red carpet shows and award speeches and best dressed/worst dressed lists. SAG awards tonight! Jake Gyllenhaal is stunning in his classic tux and the hint of stubble. (And either he's taller than I thought or Ryan Seacrest is much shorter.) Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams are gorgeous together. They're quickly become one of my favorite celebrity couples. Hugh Laurie looks stunning. I love the detail in his tie. And how did I not know that Marg Helgenberger is married to Alan Rosenberg who played creepy Adam Novak in the CSI episode Weeping Willows.

viciouswishes is taking on Friday nights and I'm delighted she's on board.
* I'm driving the February House recs over atcrack_van. I promise to step up to the plate with quality recs so, if you're looking to delve into House fic, now is your chance. :)
* Off to Ohio tomorrow. It's a one night trip for a 9am meeting on Tuesday with a mid-day flights and a nice amount of down time.
* And I come bearing some multi-fandom fic recs:
House: Distancing byastolat (House/Wilson, R) "It would be almost trivially easy to have him. Get him into a cab, take him home, spread him out on the couch and grope him a couple times through those jeans, and House is pretty sure Wilson would roll over for him. If there's anything Wilson can't resist even under normal circumstances, it's someone who wants him. The trick would be keeping him."
Harry Potter: In From The Cold bybethbethbeth (Snape/Shaklebolt, R) Post-HBP, Albus' last wish leads both Severus and Kingsly to an unexpected partnership. This story is truly in character and so, so well done.
SGA RPS: find you out bylilysaid (Joe Flanigan/David Hewlett) a creative collaboration between Joe and David, blurred lines, tongue-kissing. This story is a clear indication that quality Joe/David rps is food for the soul. I'm still breathless.
