deception...

"All you need to know is, you've hit the Munchhausen's jackpot." HE'S OUT OF HIS FUCKING MIND. OUT. OF. HIS. MIND.

I'm never sure who I'm rooting for on this crazy show. House is an ass. Foreman's smug. Chase won't accept that he's a pushover. Cameron doesn't know what the hell she wants. I've never loved a show this much when I didn't actually want to spend time with any of the characters.

At least Wilson knows what's what: "House assisting. That is funny. Too bad Foreman's gonna die." That was my favorite quote of the episode followed, in close second, by this exchange:

House: Okay. We have a neurological problem here.
Wacked Strawberry Jelly Patient: There's something wrong with my brain?
House: Oh, yeah.

And, this, because Wilson has House's back:
Foreman: Dr. Wilson, can I talk to you about something in confidence?
Wilson: Sure.
Foreman: It's about House.
Wilson: Oh. Then no.

I also love that House uses nonverbal cues to badger Wilson into buying him mints.

This is the first thing I've seen Cynthia Nixon in since Sex in the City and I thought she did a great job. She managed to be simultaneously sympathetic and completely unsympathetic. Kind of like the rest of the crew at Princeton Plainsboro.
