Oh, my god! I'm speechless. I can't believe the stole is for me. It's gorgeous and perfect and even more amazing in person.

carta knit this stole and arrived in the mail today FOR ME.
It's so delicate and it folds perfectly around my neck and I can't wait to take a picture in it.
I just wish I was in Chicago to hug you and say thank you in person! Here! Have some Claudia Christian!
Last night some friends and I made pizza and drank wine and marveled at the Olympic opening ceremonies. Beijing for the WIN. WOW. The precision and artistry were spectacular.
This morning I'm reading a little, and going for a run, and then the same friends and I are going to see Batman (again) but this time it's IMAX Batman! It's dinner out after that and, hopefully, an early evening so I can spend some time reading in bed.
PS. Kiffle, Ames, Lily, anamchara, cranberryink...remember the next door neighbors banging on the roof at 8am over Memorial Day weekend? Apparently this morning was part two of the project. I may need to strangle someone with my new stole. :)
