I had a pre-sale code for the Detroit SYTYCD show and ended up with 4th row seats. \o/ I'm going with a friend from work and his partner and we're going to bask in the full glory that is this year's top 10. (Though Danny is my forever #1.)
Last night I cooked dinner for two friends and we made our way through three bottles of red and a bottle of desert wine laughing and laughing and laughing. (Sadly, I just ate leftovers for breakfast and my stomach is about to rebel on me. In the moment, it seemed like the perfect hangover food.)
Around 11:15, we got a ride over to the closest Borders store to witness the midnight release of Breaking Dawn. By 10 to midnight, there were about 350 teenage girls twitching with nervous energy and excitement. I'm not a fan of the series but it was a lot of fun to see all of these girls busting at the seams to get their hands on a book. (For the record, I say screw Team Jacob and Team Edward and join Team Carlisle. Mmmmmm.)
Lovecat pointed me to this fantastic video of Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp performing "What You Own" on GMA yesterday morning. It's one of my favorite songs from RENT and they're still so good at it. *loves*
I went to bed too late and got up too early so I'm going to try to make this morning productive before I nap. Aside from finishing up my prep for Terminus, I have two episodes of SGA and one of Mad Men to catch up on.
