My 17 year old, lawn mowing neighbor is out in his driveway all decked out in a white tux for his prom. His date is there and so are both sets of parents and it's so cute! Everyone looks so happy and proud. (A far cry from last weekend when my neighbor was escorted home by two cop cars.)
Rick Riordan is coming to Ann Arbor for a book signing on Tuesday so I picked up the fourth in the Percy Jackson series, The Battle of the Labyrinth, so I can read it in advance. It's such a fun series (though I fear a bit for the movie in the hands of Chris Columbus).
I caught up on this week's Criminal Minds and Supernatural. Let me just say that there were some HORRIFYING moments in this week's SPN. OMG CREEPY. Now I'm about to watch Dr. Who (The Doctor's Daughter) and tonight a friend is coming over for dinner which means I'm exploring my cooking skills again. Thai peanut shrimp with farfalle plus salad and some cheese appetizers. *crosses fingers*
