Florida, Michigan seek exit from Democratic penalty box
I'm registered to vote in Florida and live in Michigan so I've been following this controversy closely since I first heard that the Democratic National Committee decided I no longer had the right to participate in the primary process.
You want sanctions? Follow the lead of the Republicans and cut the states' allocations in half but don't strip them entirely. You're not just taking a stand against two states, you're penalizing me. You're penalizing my neighbors. You've taken a voice away from millions of people and I'm angry about it. I'm angry it happened in the first place and I'm angry it's heating up only because the delegate count is so close. The DNC should have thought about their constituents in the first place.
