I don't talk about House as often as some of my other shiny fandoms but I really, really love this show. LOVE. The dynamic between House and Wilson makes me giddy. It's more than just the way Wilson knows House and calls House on his bullshit in a way that's both brutally honest and completely heartfelt. It's also the way Wilson and House need each other. As much as House gets to play damaged, Wilson is, too, and House is one of the few people who can see through the charm to who he really is. I've also always been a House/Stacy fan. I can't understand the hate. They have a complex, mature, flawed relationship and everything about their scenes scream "real" to me. I believe them together.

rageprufrock's 14 Valentines and I read Cartography by Touch on the flight home last night. It's McKay/Sheppard, R for adult themes, and absolutely stunning. I was still throughout the story.
"John looks at his palms for a long time. They look the same: pale and heavily lined. He has the same calluses and his right middle finger still has a bump on it, from holding his pencil poorly all throughout school. Nothing has changed outwardly, but where John has held hands and babies and textbooks, the familiar metal body of a P90 and of Berettas, he's now had his wrist dislocated, his hands pressed to unfamiliar skin. His skin feels scoured."

* I have a 3pm meeting in NJ and I'm sitting at my mother's house in my PJs alternating between conference calls and LJ. If only I could do this for the rest of the day!
*eleanor_lavish sent me a link to Joe Flanigan picspam from a recent con. He's the cutest thing ever. (On the subject of Joe, I'm searching for episode 02x14 of CSI Miami (Slow Burn). JF appeared and I'm dying to see it. I made a request over at csi_media but any help, even a torrent link, is appreciated.)
