This is an update to say that, even though I can't shake this wretched cough, nothing can dampen my excitement for Saturday which is my day with Commander Riker. This is two decades in the making!!

I'm taking a sick day tomorrow and then heading to Chicago around 5pm - just in time to meet up with kiffle. Saturday is ST:TNG with Jonathan Frakes & Marina Sirtis followed by dinner with carta and anamchara. Sunday is BSG day with Katee Sackhoff and Tahmoh Penikett. I'd use a Seedy Hotel Room icon for this post if I wasn't in the midst of another Scarecrow & Mrs. King binge and completely enamored with Amanda and Lee.
